All 4 colors of KENKOU masks are 3-layered with no different filtration properties.
The only difference is the color of the outer synthetic fiber, so you can choose the color you like.

 
KENKOU masks’ both colors of Activated Carbon Filter are 4-layer filter, which has the same filtration properties, but different in that the texture of the black Activated Carbon Filter is softer.

With the features of the filter which is high efficiency, and has been tested and confirmed the efficiency of filtering particles as small as 0.1 microns more than 99% (PFE 99.7%), it can filter dust as small as 2.5 microns (PM2.5).

 

You should wear the mask with the dark side or cartoon pattern on the outside, and the coil side or KENKOU letters on top.

In the case of a black or white KENKOU mask which has the same color on both sides, look at the ear strap seam and put on the mask with the inside of the seam touching the face.

 
It is recommended to change the mask every day.

If it is necessary to wear a mask all day, if there are contaminants/ sprays/ bloods, or the mask is torn, or you feel uncomfortable breathing as usual, you need to change the mask immediately.

Or with a period of time to change the mask, PUBLIC HEALTH ENGLAND recommends changing the mask every 2-6 hours depending on the usage activities.
